Purse and Prizes 2025 – It’s a Big One!
There is over $15,000 in cash and prizes to be won in 2025!
Let’s break it down!
To start, we will have Pints and Prizes on Saturday afternoon at the conclusion of day one of racing. Thanks to our dear friend Calvin of M.R. Jutzi Auctions we have over $2,000 of FREE prizes to be given away to mushers and handlers. All mushers and their official handlers will be given a raffle ticket at our musher’s meeting. Everyone will be entered into a draw to win dozens of prizes. We have camping gear, hunting knives, snow shoes, a scooter, and more. Calvin donates these prizes for free out of the goodness of his heart and his love of sled dog sports. Please thank him when you see him for his continued generosity.
We are also excited to announce our final breakdown of our race purse. This year we have been able to commit to a $10,000 monetary purse thanks to generous sponsorship contributions and our consistently high registration numbers. In addition to that, an ENTIRE PALLET of Inukshuk Professional Dog Food valued at nearly $3,000 will be given out.
In addition to our purse and prices we are happy to offer several special awards which are musher nominated or selected by our race officials / veterinarians. Mushers; Please nominate your peers on the sheets we provide to you and drop them off inside of the Legion for us to review!
