Race Day Schedule

ALL scheduling for races are subject to change at any time by our Race Marshal for various circumstances

SUNDAY February 1st, 2026

• • 8:00 pm – Registration CLOSES for all classes.
  • Any open spots will be given to waitlisted participants. Those on the waiting list will be contacted in order of entries received. 
  • Seeded starting sheets will be posted Friday before the race.

FRIDAY February 6th, 2026

Dog yard parking CLOSED by 8pm. NO Pre-saving spots unless authorized by the race committee.

SATURDAY February 7th, 2026

• 5:00am Dog Yard Parking opens
• 7:45 am – Private Mandatory Mushers Meeting
• 8:00 am - Opening Ceremonies/ Bib Draw
• 9:00 am - 8 dog sled
• 10:15am - 6 dog sled
• 11:45am - I-Kid-Arod
• 12:15 - LUNCH BREAK
• 12:30 pm - 2 dog ski
• 1:30 pm - 1 dog ski
• 2:45 pm - 4 dog sled
• 4:30 pm - 2 dog sled
• 5:45pm (Approximate) - Pints and Prizes sponsored by MR Jutzi (Musher's Prize Draw at the Legion)

SUNDAY February 8th, 2026 (Tentative)

• 7:45 am - Private Mandatory Mushers Meeting
• 9:00 am - 8 dog sled
• 10:30 am - 6 dog sled
• 12:00 pm - I-Kid-Arod
• 12:15 am - LUNCH BREAK
• 12:45am - 2 dog ski
• 1:30 pm - 1 dog ski
• 2:30 pm - 4 dog sled
• 3:45 pm - 2 dog sled
• 4:30pm - Musher's Banquet Meal service begins at the Kearney Community Center
• 5:15pm – Final times Posted at the Banquet
• 5:30pm - Awards Presentations
