Exciting News for Mushers and Handlers!
On Saturday, February 8th, after the firt day of racing, we’re hosting our first-ever “Pints and Prizes” at the Legion, proudly sponsored by our amazing friend Calvin Jutzi of M.R. Jutzi Auctions. There are thousands of dollars’ worth of items up for grabs.
Tickets for the prize draw are FREE and will be handed out during the morning mushers meeting and bib draw. The morning meeting is mandatory, so thankfully you shouldn’t miss collecting your ticket! *wink wink*
Calvin is a true champion of sled dog racing. Over the years, he’s generously donated dozens of prizes to events like the former Haliburton Sled Dog Races. He continues to support major races such as the Can-Am and the Yukon Quest. Calvin will tell you himself that he is “sled dog racing’s biggest fan” and we are so grateful that he chooses our event to support.
